WINTER WEATHER PROCEDURES

 Red Door uses Operation Snowflake 104.1 FM (B 104,) WAEB 790, WZZO 95. We are code 526. 

Closings: If Saucon Valley is closed, Red Door is closed. In some circumstances, Red Door may close before Saucon Valley announces.

Modified Schedules 

1-hour SVSD delay:       

·A.M. Pre-School & A.M. K-Kids should report to Red Door at 9:45 AM.        

·A.M. K-Kids will be taken by our bus to SVES for their PM kindergarten class as usual at the appropriate time.       

·PM Pre-School Students report at 12:35 as usual.       

·Parent drop-off PM K-Kids – report to lunch at 12:30 or to class at 1:35. 

·PM K-Kids will be picked up by our bus at SVES at 12:30 PM and taken to Red Door for a modified lunch and PM K-Kids. 

2-hour SVSD delay:  

NO K-Kids BUSSING to/from SVES on a 2-hour delay day! 

· A.M. Pre-School & A.M. K-Kids should report to Red Door at 10:40.A.M. Pre-School and K-Kids will run from 10:40 – 12:10.

· P.M. Pre-School and P.M. K-Kids should report to Red Door at 1:15. P.M. Pre-School and K-Kids will run from 1:15 – 2:45.

SVSD Early Dismissal   

Red Door will dismiss 20 minutes after Saucon Valley. Get to Red Door as soon as you safely can. If special circumstances arise, please   call us.  

NO Red Door BUSSING to/from SVES on an Early Dismissal Days   

This is our general policy, yet we value your family’s safety above your child’s attendance at school on a hazardous driving day. As a result, if Red Door is in session and you feel the weather is not safe for driving, we encourage you to make a decision in your family’s best interest. Please call the school to let us know if your child won’t be attending in such a case.
